Beautifully Synchronized Lights.

Plug them in. Pair them up. It’s that simple.

As festival artists, we know firsthand the frustration of working with addressable lights. Either you spend countless hours building something from the ground up, or you buy something off the shelf that disappoints. That’s why we built GlowFlock—an out-of-the-box solution for pixel perfect syncing… from two strings to two thousand.

USB-Powered

Power your lights with traditional AC power or hook up a USB power bank, opening up a world of syncing-wearable possibilities.

Easy Setup

Just plug them in, pair them with the push of a button, and your lights are synced. No coding, internet, app downloads, or even Bluetooth required.

Infinitely Expandable

Pair two strings or two thousand. GlowFlock’s self-healing mesh technology keeps your pixels in perfect sync no matter how big or small the Flock.

Multiple Flocks

Mix, match and sync your lights as one Flock or many. Pair up with the neighbors or do your own thing with just a button press.

FAQs

  • Other than a power source, GlowFlock lights do not need any wires in order to pair and synchronize with one another. Just plug them into power, pair them using an on-device button, and the lights are synchronized. When you’re ready to change patterns, simply change the patterns on a designated “lead” device, and all the lights in the flock will change instantly.

  • GlowFlock lights currently come in three flavors: Starling, Swift, and Toucan. Visit our Indiegogo for more information about each model.

  • The smallest kit will include three strings of the same type, either bullet, fairy or neon style. Higher crowdfunding tiers include more lights.

  • While GlowFlock lights do not require an app to sync and change patterns, there will be an app to add new patterns to your lights in the future.

  • The GlowFlock app is in development. The app will enable you to load new patterns and firmware onto devices. Once loaded, patterns and firmware can be loaded onto other devices OTA (over the air) from device to device without the app, meaning you don’t have to manually load updates onto every device. Additional devices can be updated whenever new lights are added to a Flock or powered up and reconnected to their existing Flock.

  • While GlowFlock controllers need to be kept away from moisture, the strings themselves are water-resistant. GlowFlock Starling lights (bullet-style) are IP68 rated, and the Toucans (neon) are IP67, and our Swift (fairy) lights are rated IP65.

  • The length of time a power bank will keep your lights running depends on too many variables to deliver a quick answer. Different power banks have different power capacities, and different patterns use more or less power depending on how many LEDs are active at any given time. We recommend experimenting with different patterns and brightness levels to ensure your lights will operate as long as you'd like them to given your specific power bank.

  • Nope! All Flocks are opt-in, and your devices will never join a Flock you didn't ask it to. If you do ask your device(s) to join a Flock when there are several leaders nearby, you simply need to cycle through leaders until you get to the one you want to follow.

  • Nope! Once you've loaded your favorite patterns on a single device, others can join your Flock and play your patterns, even if they haven't enabled those patterns before. Note that once they leave your Flock, they'll no longer have access to those patterns.

Note that the app is still in development.
